The SMSNA Foundation works with Industry Partners to create disease state specific awareness focused on professionals and/or public.
The SMSNA Foundation strives to support and develop disease state specific awareness through white papers and position statements which are made available through publication online and/or in Journals.
The SMSNA Foundation develops patient education information and materials which are made available through SexHealthMatters.org. SexHealthMatters.org is the healthcare consumer-facing website with a mission to help visitors learn about sexual health issues by providing the most up-to-date and trustworthy information available. The aim of SexHealthMatters.org is to help men and their spouses/partners who are living with sexual health issues to understand and navigate the emotional aspects of the condition. It will also help those who haven't started on a path toward diagnosis and treatment to realize they can improve their condition by seeking medical help, and then assist them in finding the confidence and the words to broach the subject with their healthcare provider. SexHealthMatters.org currently provides information about the following health issues in English and Spanish language: Anejaculation, BPH, Delayed Ejaculation, Erectile Dysfunction, HSDD, Low Testosterone, Penis Enlargement, Peyronie's Disease, Premature Ejaculation, Prostate Cancer, Retrograde Ejaculation and Spinal Cord Injury.
