Eligibility:
- Must have completed a general urological residency
Actions required before starting fellowship:
- Complete a statement of commitment to a career in sexual medicine
- Complete SMSNA membership application If not already an SMSNA member
- Complete Pre-evaluation Self-assessment Form: Knowledge Areas; Skill Competencies
- Create fellow web-based profile
Actions required during fellowship:
- Complete SMSNA curriculum in identified areas
- Document activity in patient case logs
- Provide mid-term Self-assessment
- Attend SMSNA Annual Fall Scientific Meeting or SMSNA Scientific Program at AUA
- Document any other external training/meetings attended during the fellowship term
- Complete final Self-assessment
- Complete faculty and program evaluation
***Upon successful completion of all requirements a certificate and personalized letter will be sent to the fellow by the SMSNA.
Actions encouraged after fellowship:
- Participate in other SMSNA training (instructional courses, webinars, Master’s in Prosthetics Cadaver Lab, etc.)
- Maintain SMSNA membership status
- Join an SMSNA committee (Young Clinicians, Website, etc.)
