What inspired you to work in sexual medicine?
Strong support from Dr. Trost and his willingness to teach me sexual medicine. I am also interested in areas of medicine that are difficult, intimidating, or uncomfortable for some and I aim to become knowledgeable in these topics.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your career?
Working with patients to find a solution to their problem that works best for them. Using shared decision-making and empowering patients to determine their destiny.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I very much enjoy baking, specifically experimenting with bread and cake recipes.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Don’t sweat the small stuff...and it’s all small stuff.
What would your ideal vacation be?
The white sandy beaches of Hawaii.
