SMSNA is pleased to showcase past research made possible by the American Urological Association’s (AUA) Research Scholar Award, designed to support the next generation of leaders in urologic research. The AUA’s mentored research training awards aim to attract and develop promising early-career investigators through structured mentorship and dedicated funding. Its flagship Research Scholar Program offers $40,000 per year for one- or two-year training experiences, supporting clinical and postdoctoral fellows within five years of completing their training, as well as early-career faculty within their first five years of appointment. These programs are intended to foster long-term success and innovation in urologic research.
The submission period for the 2026 Research Scholar Awards has concluded.
