What inspired you to work in sexual medicine?
I enjoy the breadth of conditions that we treat and the ways that we can positively impact quality of life for our patients.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your career?
I love the positive impact that our medical and surgical treatments have on patients. However, the most rewarding aspect for me is getting to know my patients beyond their condition - finding those opportunities to connect and partner sets the tone for establishing a treatment pathway.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I was a state champion swimmer (North Dakota...) and I still like to claim that I am “relying on my high school athleticism.”
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Let your operating room team choose the music - that will always help to set the right tone for the day.
What would your ideal vacation be?
3 weeks in France following the Tour de France cycling race.
